What?
The ABS will be introducing a 'Key Stats' table to the homepage to give users access to key figures quickly. This is inspired by the Italian National Institute of Statistics homepage.
Why?
The ABS is focussed on improving the discoverability of ABS data and providing users with key figures much faster. The Table reads data from1345.0 - Key Economic Indicators web page and updates automatically with the latest data when that does.
When?
There is a planned release of this item by the end of the financial year. Would you find this Key Stats Table useful and which design would suit best?

This looks great - well done! My preference is Mock-up 2 both due to the positioning and the layout. Just a small picky thing - I would prefer it if the publication names were in normal font rather than italics.

Thanks Jarryd,
I think I prefer option 1 in terms of design. I think option 3 is a little hidden.
At the moment though the table is really just 'Key Economic Stats', would we be hoping to get a few key Population, Labour and/or Social stats into this table as well?

This is great - one step forward for the ABS!
I prefer the position, layout and design of Mockup 2, but you could also incorporate the row highlighting shown in the other Mockups for usability.
In the future I would also like to see something along the lines of the previous prototypes - an ABS toolbox and/or an interactive Key Indicators graph to show statistics over time.
