What?
We are experimenting with some mobile friendly techniques for visualising data. Using the AM Charts package we have developed a number of examples of visualising ABS data. They use the scalable time series template allowing the user to naviagate through selected parts of a large time series or view the entire time series.
When?
There is no current release for this template as it is a proof of concept only, but dependant on demand this product may be investigated further. Would you find it interesting to have this data visualisation template included in ABS Publications?

What is the difference between these data vis graphs and the data vis graphs already used in ABS publications?

I really like Example 2 and would be interested in featuring something like that in the Gender Indicators (cat. no. 4125.0) product. I would really like it if this product is investigated further, and becomes available to use.

This looks great and would be a good addition to ABS publications particularly the MEI publications to show movements in data.
